Top 5 Cruisers under $10000

Cruisers are some of the most expensive bikes especially the new American Big Twin range. A brand-new Harley-Davidson and Indians will put you down around $20000 or more. For riders, the need to cruise is ever-present and high prices can be an obstacle.

The good news is, you can but a brand-new cruiser for less than 10K. These high-performing cruisers with sport bike roots can be purchased at a motorcycle trader. Let’s get to it!

1.       Yamaha V star 250: About $4349

Yamaha V star 250 is perfect for any beginner rider. It has enough V-twin power, light weight (around 326 pounds wet), with a 27-inch seat making it great for tooling around town. It provides a quieter and smoother ride than a single-cylinder.

If you need the noise, Suzuki TU250X ($4,649) is the alternative but it’s not as classic as the Yamaha. For the same features and more power, Suzuki Boulevard S40 ($5,799) would perform better. And it’s got the retro-style vibe.

2.       Kawasaki Vulcan S: About $7099

Kawasaki has found the right balance between sports and comfort. Designed to suit both novice and expert riders. It’s fitted with 649cc V-twin that’s lifted directly from the Ninja 650 sports bike. The Kawi S Café version ($ 8099), sports a dark wind deflector/headlight cowl and three-tone paint. They are both excellent affordable cruisers.

3.       Honda Shadow Phantom: About $ 7899

This is a Universal Japanese Motorcycle (UJM), pioneer. Honda Shadow Phantom is a lightweight machine at 745cc, swaggering a 56 mpg. This makes it ideal for a beginner rider or an expert who needs an easier or compliant ride. The Shadow Aero ($ 7699) has a more traditional style with classic chrome, passenger pillion pad, and full fenders.

4.       Indian Scout Sixty: About $8999

This 1000cc isn’t a beginner bike. It’s 542-pound with a 25.8-inch seat making it very easy to handle. It’s the fastest bike in this list thanks to the 78-hp engine. It’s a high-tech cruiser with an aluminum cast frame with an ABS standard.

It is the cheapest and smallest bike in the Indian line up. It’s a one-rider bike so you can take that solo ride you need.
