Suspects crash stolen Maserati, Subaru after chase in Manatee County

TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — The Palmetto Law enforcement Division reported it arrested three individuals right after they led officers on a chase in two stolen automobiles and crashed them both equally.

Police tracked down a ping from a Subaru’s theft deterrent technique and observed the motor vehicle with a stolen Maserati in close proximity to a Walmart on U.S. 301. The Subaru was stolen in Hernando County, and the Maserati was stolen in Hillsborough County, according to law enforcement.

Police mentioned the motorists of each vehicles fled and started heading eastbound on U.S. Highway 301. 1 wrecked the Maserati in the space of U.S. 301 and Gillette Street. The suspect bought out of the automobile and into the Subaru, which continued onto Interstate 75.

Law enforcement mentioned the Subaru headed south on the interstate, and went on to Point out Highway 70 before crashing into a retention spot. The a few suspects ran to a nearby shopping center. Two were being detained inside a Lowe’s retail outlet, and the other was found in a wooded area close by, according to law enforcement.

A single of the suspects suffered an ankle damage, law enforcement claimed.

Police say each autos had been returned to their homeowners.
