Palmetto police led on chase in stolen Maserati, Subaru

Officers say the chase started with a report of a stolen car or truck near a Walmart in Palmetto.

PALMETTO, Fla. — 3 people were arrested soon after law enforcement say they led officers on an early early morning chase in the course of Palmetto in two various stolen vehicles.

It begun at 6:30 a.m. Tuesday when Palmetto police officers were being dispatched to the region of the Walmart on U.S. 301 to look for a Subaru that had been reported stolen out of Hernando County and was pinging at that place.

Police arrived to locate the Subaru together with a Masterati. When officers approached the autos, they say equally took out eastbound on U.S. 301. 

The Masterati, which was stolen from Hillsborough County, crashed at U.S. 301 and Ellenton Gillette Road, according to the section. 

Police say the driver then received into the Subaru which ongoing to Interstate 75 south. The car exited on to Point out Road 70 and crashed into a retention space.

That’s when all 3 people got out of the car and ran to a nearby procuring centre, according to the launch.

Two of them had been arrested by Palmetto police officers within a Lowe’s retailer whilst the third human being was arrested by Manatee County deputies in a close by wooded space.,

Officers say a person of the folks sustained an evident ankle harm. There were being no other noted accidents.

There is no term nevertheless on charges.
