Best Jeep Deals, Leases And Incentives For June 2022

Jeep has announced its lease and financing deals for June and they look much like they did for May. That’s no surprise given constrained inventory and looming interest rate hikes, but even though most of the deals are modest, there are still a few bargains to be had, both on leases and purchases.

2021 Jeep Renegade Latitude

$505 per month for
36 months for the Latitude Trim, assuming a $1,000
down payment.

MSRP

$26,115

More Info

An oversupply of 2021 Renegades means leases can be had for as little as $360/month on Islander, Latitude and 80th Anniversary trims and $372 on most other versions. Some regions are also offering up to $2,250 in bonus cash or 0% financing for 48 months.

2022 Jeep Renegade Latitude

$504 per month for
36 months for the Latitude Trim, assuming a $1,000
down payment.

MSRP

$29,145

Leftover 2021 Jeep Renegades means deals abound even on 2022s. 36-month leases start from $376/month on Latitude models but even the top-trim Trailhawk isn’t much more. Jeep is offering as much as $2,000 cash allowances on some trims (primarily the higher-spec ones) and 1.9% financing with $1,000 in bonus cash.

2022 Jeep Compass Latitude

$503 per month for
36 months for the Latitude Trim, assuming a $1,000
down payment.

MSRP

$30,835

More Info

Leases on Compass Latitude and Altitude trims are the most affordable, but even top-spec Trailhawk and Limited models are only fractionally pricier. Financing typically runs 3.9% or higher, though some offers include modest amounts of bonus cash ($500). Some regions are offering up to $1,500 cash allowances. The Compass got a major refresh for 2022, and is improved in many ways.

2022 Jeep Gladiator Sport

$452 per month for
36 months for the Sport Trim, assuming a $1,000
down payment.

MSRP

$37,170

More Info

Few pickups can match the Gladiator’s off-road talents and its styling is as rugged as its capabilities. Affordable leases are currently offered on a wide range of 2021 and 2022 trims, some of which are regional. These include the Sport, Texas Trail, Freedom, Willys, 80th Anniversary and Altitude, but expect to may much more for Rubicon or High Altitude models. Currently, bonus cash for $500 to $1,500 is available depending on region and trim.

2022 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Sport

$441 per month for
36 months for the Unlimited Sport Trim, assuming a $1,000
down payment.

MSRP

$34,045

More Info

The Wrangler is tough to beat off-road, and very popular. Affordable lease rates are offered on the Unlimited Sport, High Tide, Willys, Sport S and Sport Altitude trims, but Sahara, High Altitude and Rubicon models cost much more. There aren’t a ton of great financing deals on Wranglers right now, but some regions are offering bonus cash.

2022 Jeep Cherokee Altitude

$483 per month for
36 months for the Altitude Trim, assuming a $1,000
down payment.

MSRP

$31,495

More Info

The Cherokee soldiers on into 2022 with limited changes, and while still quite capable it now has other rivals like the Ford Bronco Sport and Subaru Forester Wilderness to contend with. The friendliest lease deals are offered on the Limited, Freedom, Altitude and Latitude trims, but the top-trim versions are less than $100 more per month. Some regions are offering up to $750 cash allowances.

2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee L Laredo

$531 per month for
36 months for the Laredo Trim, assuming a $1,000
down payment.

MSRP

$40,325

More Info

Few deals are available on the Grand Cherokee L, which is a new model this year despite a very short 2021 run. However, some friendly leases are available on the Laredo and Altitude trims, and actually cost less the old, but still in production, Grand Cherokee WK. Lease rates are higher on the Grand Cherokee L Limited and much higher on the top trims.

2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo

$503 per month for
36 months for the Laredo Trim, assuming a $1,000
down payment.

MSRP

$38,325

More Info

The Grand Cherokee is all-new this year and in demand, but there are still some friendly lease deals on the Laredo and Altitude trims. Like the Grand Cherokee L, these can actually be had for less than the old Grand Cherokee WK. These rates are only available on a limited selection of low-end trims, with even the mid-range models adding $100 to $200 more to the monthly payment, and the high-end trims much more.

2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee WK Laredo X

$661 per month for
36 months for the Laredo X Trim, assuming a $1,000
down payment.

MSRP

$34,900

More Info

While Jeep has now replaced this Grand Cherokee with a new design, the automaker has kept the old model in production alongside the new one. Lease rates aren’t particularly attractive but are about 27% lower than the new model, on which almost no deals are available. These affordable lease rates apply mainly to low-spec Laredo X and Laredo E trims, and rates are much higher on the top trims.

2022 Jeep Wagoneer Series I

$832 per month for
36 months for the Series I Trim, assuming a $1,000
down payment.

MSRP

$58,995

More Info

It’s a struggle to call anything with monthly payments this high a “deal,” but Series I and Carbide models are both available at lower rates than the other trims and much lower than the Grand Wagoneer. Jeep is also offering 0% financing and $2,000 cash allowances on some trims in some regions, perhaps due to the fact that this is a gigantic, fuel-hungry SUV in a time of high gas prices.

Methodology

Forbes Wheels scans ChromeData’s LenderDesk for the newest and best incentive and lease deals on a national basis, but also does independent research into local and regional market-based incentives.

The offers presented may not be as low as special lease deals advertised on dealer and manufacturer websites, which typically don’t include taxes or fees, and may apply to stripped-down models that lack popular options. Adding desirable features or higher trims might raise or lower the price depending on the manufacturer’s offerings at the time of the deal. For example, our data showed that a monthly lease payment on a Grand Wagoneer Series III, Jeep’s fanciest and most expensive model, ran nearly $2,000/month.

Additionally, 0% or special financing offers depend on creditworthiness, and may not be accessible to all consumers.

Are Jeep Deals Good in June?

Leasing rates are unremarkable and largely unchanged from May, but bonus cash remains available in different regions on all models except the new Grand Cherokee and Grand Cherokee L. The amounts vary wildly, from roughly $500 to $1,500 and on only a small subset of models. Base interest rates from Jeep’s captive lender, Chrysler Capital, also remain relatively high at 4.33% in most areas.

Is 0% Financing Available?

There are some 0% financing deals available, but their shorter terms mean higher monthly payments even if they are interest-free. The refreshed 2022 Compass and the now-superseded (but still in production) Jeep Grand Cherokee WK both have 0% deals, the former typically 36 months, and the latter 48 months. In some regions, there’s also bonus cash on these two vehicles.

Which Jeeps Have the Best Deals Right Now?

The best deals on offer right now are on Jeep’s smallest model, the Renegade. A sprinkling of leftover 2021 stock (yes, even in this tight market) are still sitting around. In the Northeast, Jeep is offering 0% financing for 48 months and $2,250 in bonus cash on these, while in the Southwest, the offer is 1.9% for 72 months and $1,000 in bonus cash.

2022 Renegades also come with attractive deals, including up to $1,000 in bonus cash on the top-trim Trailhawk in some regions, and up to $2,000 off if you’re paying cash. If you’re in the market for a tiny crossover like a Kia Soul, Chevy Trailblazer or Hyundai Kona and can’t find one without a markup, the Renegade might make a decent alternative at a bargain price.

What We Expect Next Month

With interest rates set to rise, both leasing and financing will be more expensive next month. We expect the pattern of modest incentives to continue, but now’s a good time to drive a hard bargain on a Compass or a Renegade.
